This tape is made of OPS heat-shrinkable film coated with proprietary electrolyte-resistant acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is specially applied in the post-filling process of cylindrical power cells. After electrolyte injection, the tape swells tightly to bond bare cells and steel shells together, enhancing the overall impact resistance of batteries.
